¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Some people here talk out of both sides of their mouth . in one thread they’ll say Jeep quality is terrible , they’re stupid they can’t do anything right. then in another thread with the other side of their mouth they try to tell me I’m stupid for not trusting Jeep with this very complicated unproven technology and I should not worry at all. It doesn’t make sense.

Do you have some examples of one person saying both of these things?

2019 orders will probably close in late September, 2020 orders will open in October, November time frame. However, if you watch the order tracking thread, they were still making 2018 models well into January as they were catching up.
But 2018 situation might not be a good year to make assumptions off of. First, because it was an initial year of production, and second because they stopped to fix a few things and then scrambled to get inventory to dealers. My dealer told me that the reason there are so many 2018s on special with aggressive pricing is that FCA kind of screwed the dealers and did not deliver much inventory in the middle of the year and then dumped a ton of 2018s on the dealers late in the year. As a result, dealers are stuck with a bunch of 2018s that are hard to sell because the 2019s have arrived. So if 2019 is going to be a short year as one of the other posters suggested, it might be to make up for this little glut. All that said, I think if you order in March, April, May or June, you are looking at a 2019 model year vehicle. I would order right before you leave for your trip. I ordered on Feb 4 and drove it off the lot on Feb 28th.

I ordered a pacifica and it was VIN'd next day and built by the end of the week. It sat in the lot for two weeks before finally moving and then the regular 2-3 weeks to arrive. If it wasn't for the lot sitting it would have been less then 30 days from order to delivery.

There is a member on Wrangler Forum that received his in less than 3 weeks of ordering. Sometimes they can be quick.

It all depends on what you order, how you order, and how many parts are available

Yes this is for the wrangler. this has been Jlengineline approved. ;)

Follow me and you will be update. I try to post when ever I hear something new. I also let you know all the good rumors.
I work at the largest railroad and we're like a bunch of high school girls at a sleepover when it comes to rumors. So I'm always up for up for a good one.

Let's not forget the other benefits of the eTorque systems: better off-the-line torque and torque applied to the crankshaft during gear shifts, practically eliminating NoiseHarshnessVibration issues. Add to that beefed up internals and nearly endless 12V power even when the engine is off (think: tailgating!), and it's a great addition to the proven 3.6.
Where are people reading that the 3.6 with the BSG has beefed up internals? Is this another JLEngineLine fact or are people assuming? I have a hard time believing that FCA would make 4 different engines for the wrangler. I assumed they just took the basic 3.6 and added the BSG.

Any chance Hydro Blue makes it to the wrangler in 2020? It is late availability on the gladiator

Interesting info here. My wife saw the new bikini color in person yesterday and now is going ape shit on getting a JL. We were going to wait a couple years to add another wrangler to the family....but that damn'd color lol.

Any reason to not to assume the color will carry into the 2020 order window since it was JUST released to be built?

Wrangler colors are always a crap shoot. On the JK there were several "late availability" colors that released late in the model year and were dead on the following model year (Mojave Sand, Tank, etc).

And good luck with finding any dealers that could give you an idea if it will be. I’ve talked to a few dealers that didn’t even know “bikini” was an actual color, and had no idea if they’ve even put in an order for any. So them knowing if it’ll be available for ‘20....

"Nacho" on the JL lasted about 2 months in 2018, and most of them went to Canada. I think Bikini will last for a while, though.
