Looking at your pic, that cable to the Zclip is broken. You cannot fix! That unit will have to be returned and they will send you another. Call Bestop, customer service and they will work an exchange, Take this set back in stride.... It will be worth it.

Bestop, will need to see / want to see your pic.

I couldn't move the z clip without wires popping out. I'm not sure how to fix them at this point. I pressed ahead with half them out.

Thanks. I followed up with an email as you suggested. I have the Sunrider on and no issues so far with the detached threads (not sure if that is the correct verbiage) from the z-clip.

I have to say the top is amazing. It is only mildly louder than the freedom panels. Today was a great test with weather around 70 and intermittent storms. I was able to open and close the sunrider repeated as needed. With the freedom panels I'd have put them on and left them on.

I can't recommend this enough.

I've had a few Wrangler owners ask me about the Sunrider the past two days as they hadn't seen it before.

You guys did a fantastic job. My four year old saw me open it once. This morning we missed the bus to his school. We get out to the Jeep. He climbs in the front seat, unlatches and opens the Sunrider, hops in the back and climbs into his car seat and puts his sunglasses on.

It has far exceeded our expectations. Well done.

Got the replacement top installed. Having a second person support the top and hold the z-clip while attaching the rails made the process of installing the z-clip a breeze.

It is a pain in the *** to do alone. On the Sunrider for Hardtop, the problem is there was no slack like the instructions showed there to be. Ugh....

It's the thing I harped on the most when I did the installation video months ago. You just have to be patient....it's difficult to be patient but you just have to if you're trying this alone. Using needle nose pliers helps also.
