Do you have any pics showing how it fits better? I'm guessing from other posts that the Spider has a smaller gap around the edges. Same basic installation?
Ok, as promised here is my Spidershade.

Looks good! Thank you for posting the pics. I know I'm going to need a shade with the TX sunshine, but admit I will miss the opportunity to "prairie dog" out the open top. . .

If you're tall, you might want to reconsider a shade.. I installed my alien last night and realized my head touches the shade.. Only way around it is to recline the seat which I don't like.. ended up removing it.. Im 6'3..

I learned the same fate yesterday afternoon. Considering trying the Molle Platform Solutions front rack to keep the shade held up a little.

Don't forget you also get a little alien with your order, I'm not sure if you get a spider from the others guys. Everyone knows an alien is way cooler than a spider. I hope this helps you decide.

Love it. I leave it on with hardtop too, its kinda my theme though. Red antennae, red rock rails.

Red accents - goes good with the Sting-grey and black interior. Blocks the sun, but leaves enough light to come through.

If you ask me the JtopsUSA is a way better product IMO https://www.jtopsusa.com/jeep-mesh-shade-top-comparisons
I would agree... had spider on my JK and the Jtops on my JL. It is a great product but more expensive than spider or alien. They also only make one long shade. They don't have front and rear setups or even a front only setup. I have emailed them and they are not planning on making one either.

On the fence between alien and spider for a front only shade.

Ya I'm in the same boat. I love the JTOPUSA because its just a far superior product. But most of the time honestly I just have the freedom panels removed so I'm going to have to get at least the front Alien shade.

Thanks, I posted them some time back to the waiting room, given how many posts fly by in a day, you must have missed them.
