Mine is set to arrive sometime around 02/10. I'm game as soon as it arrives!

I'm getting a few guys together from my area (North SD, Temecula) to do a run from Big Bear into Pioneertown sometime in late March to early April. You guys are more than welcome to join. It's a pretty easy trail with lots of cool stops (mostly mines) along the way.

I grew up in Bear Bear and know the area well.

@bellts I'm heading up to Big Bear this Thursday - Frida to do some snowboarding with my son. I was thinking of getting off road as well while we're up there. I have a stock JLU Rubicon... any recommendations on trails? Obviously I don't want to get stuck if we're by ourselves :). Thanks!

For this time a year, try 3n14, Coxey Road (it should be open). Other trails I'm not so sure about (as I haven't been up there since November), but 3n14 is a safe bet (plus it's easy). It's kinda cool because it hits(gets near) the Pacific Crest trail a few times. Lots of cool rock formations and some burnt out/re-growth spots (not a lot of people see that "side" of Big Bear).

I'd pay it safe and buy an adventure pass ($5 @ 7-11, Summit Blvd. and Big Bear Blvd.)

Awesome thanks! How’s Holcomb? I saw that one is rated pretty easy as well.
