Anyone heard or seen any information about the JL Tire Carrier form Teraflex ?

Teraflex is concentrating on shocks presently ,they said maybe next year they will look at the tire carrier for the JL.

That video is from 2016 and the tire carrier is for the JK,haven't heard any news yet for the JL Tire Carrier.

I know it's from 2016 and it's for the JK. Just asking if you had seen it. I would imagine that Teraflex is still involved in this, unless Mopar switched vendors in the last 2 years. It's worth asking the question.

Yes I knew about and thought Teraflex could of put out one for the JL since its not that much different then the JK.I called Teraflex in the spring and was told they would have one in 6 months for the JL.I just called two weeks ago and another person said maybe next year they would look at the JL tire carrier.

I emailed them on Friday. They said looks like the end of February it will be available.

Thanks! I did the same and got the same answer. They also confirmed use of backup camera and stock third brake light. We'll see!

They should at least give us the product details. I'm sure it's available. I'm waiting, but it would really be nice to know exactly what I'm waiting for other than a few SEMA pics.

Sure is pricey, I’m curious how much height adjustability there will be with this. I ordered a Rock Hard 4X4 rear bumper and there is no recess in the bumper for the spare tire; it’s flat across the whole bumper.

I’m not sure it’s complete. I’m wondering if it needs any other support brackets like the jk version. If it is complete then that is a far cheaper option than a decent tire carrier. Those typically start in the $700-$800 range. It also looks like it has a decent rear camera housing as opposed to some other manufacturers.
