They Have/Had a Rubicon fully loaded and Sahara at Glendale Dodge Jeep Chrysler (Southern- California) yesterday. Test drove the Rubicon and loved it.

Pics honestly don’t do black justice, especially in this weather. There’s ice on the Jeep and it’s hazy out.

Most pictures I’ve seen of black made me want white or red. But I’m telling you, you have to see one cleaned up in person to really appreciate it!

If anyone wants specific pictures let me know.

Love this Jeep and really glade I went with Black!!! When it comes down to it, they are all Nice!!!!

I've heard someone else mention wavy doors but can you explain why is this is such a bad thing? Isn't the reflection in most cars going to be distorted?

"loaded" Sahara, 2.5" lift(who makes a 2.5" lift) and bad(not good) wheels and tires on ebay buy it now only $54,999. Also a great pic to see how wavy the doors are. Either that or there's some narly waves.

I guess you can get an idea of "wavy doors" in this photo (click image to zoom). Shouldn't the parking line reflections be straight?

Are the aluminum door skins so thin that they don't hold their form?

Honestly it doesn't bother me, but I haven't seen one in person yet.

The skins are still steel. It's the inner sub-structure that's aluminum.

I feel like there will be issues with the first year, but I also feel that first year adopters like me will always have fond memories of them too. "Yep, my dang 2018 JL, thing never was quite straight from the factory, but hell I loved it anyway"

Is the Lexington dealership a good one? I don't live too far away and am always looking for good, honest dealers to work with.

I don't know anything really about them. I ordered mine through Wilson in Winnsboro, SC. They have a really good rep, so that's why I went there.

Test drove a loaded black Rubicon today at Landmark FCA in Atlanta. Drives really nice. I'm 6'3" and only just brushed the sound bar maybe every other time I put my head against the headrest.

If I purchased a black or granite JL I would seriously consider http://www.trailskinz.com/ for when I go offroading.
There are too many times I'm grinding my teeth after some shrubs or a tree branch rub along side the Jeep. Luckily with the lighter colors it takes a very trained eye to point out the same rash you would easily see on a black Jeep.
