Just wondering if it is possible to have the factory foglights stay on when you have your headlights on bright? I have the led light package if that makes a difference. Thanks.

I don't believe so, unless you rewire some things.

No, this is not possible with the stock JL.... It is very easily accomplished though, with programming by the Tazer JL programmer.

With the JL LED package, when you turn on brights with fogs, things really light up.

I don’t think that any vehicles are configured this way from the factory. This is intentional because under normal road driving conditions you shouldn’t use both at the same time as they serve opposite purposes and it’s counterproductive (possibly dangerous) to use both. But I can totally see a lot of usefulness to using them simultaneously off road. I have a Tazer mini but haven’t installed it yet.

On a dark night, clear or raining and with no fog, when you get on a back country road or an interstate road, and you are the only one out there, the ability to have fogs on with brights is really a very positive thing..

In deer country, this is especially useful, as you get the distance lighting thanks to the brights and the side of the road lighting thanks to the fogs.

Once you experience brights on with fogs you really want this ability on a vehicle. Yes, you have to use the combo wisely.

Exactly why I was asking. I spend alot of time in the mountains and foothills, have had a number of deer appear from nowhere and decide the other side of the road or trail is where they would rather be.

Been looking at getting a Tazer but wasn't sure if it left a trail that the dealer could see, wasn't sure if using it would void my warranty?

Here in Wyoming having the fog lights on with your bright lights is definitely a plus! We have deer and antelope all over the place.

The Tazer is well worth the money. There are just so many different things you can do with it, from adjusting tire size, adjusting TPMS, turning off ESS, and the list goes on and on. It’s something that you’ll definitely get you money out of.
