Seriously though... fellow Jeep owners: Burnt Customs..... https://burntcustoms.com/

Beautiful stuff......
Thanks for posting that, that's freaking awesome. I'll definitely take a look into those when I finish what I have in my list now

Speaking of which...

Finally received my JCR winch plate!!! I know what I'm doing tonight!

I got the bull bar on there as well (got it from JRC Offroad as well) which I'll be mounting some lights to in the next couple days.

I 'stubbified' the front bumper too to accommodate the up and coming 35'' tires and I think it just looks better this way anyway.

I happened to stumble on what appears to be a limited edition color Factor 55 Flatlink E so I nabbed the last one in stock! Matches Hobbes pretty well!

A huge shout-out to Marcus @River City Offroad for hooking it up and helping me get these on time for my trip next week. I bugged him quite a bit this week about getting these on time! Some fresh 315 KO2s are waiting for me at the tire shop. Can't wait!!

I've been getting flashed quite a bit at night (and not the kind that I like ;);)). I have noticed that the headlights are aimed a bit high so I adjusted them tonight. Turns out they're about 5.5 inches too high from the factory.

It does make quite a difference, kind of sad I don't light up the road like before, but I also won't be making people blind anymore either. I'll have to readjust once I get the winch and new wheels on... I think this is something everyone should check since it is a safety hazard for other drivers!
How does one adjust the headlights?

There are plastic heads right above the headlight mounts in the engine bay. Turn them to adjust the height (you'll need a long Phillips screw driver for the driver side, it's a pain because of the pipe that runs almost right above it)

I've been slacking quite a bit, but that's because I've been off the grid the past couple weeks. I've rushed to get everything installed before I drove up the Pacific NW on a road trip, so I didn't have time to post all the pictures of new mods. Just a day before I left (and even during the trip) I've had the following installed:
  • Mopar 5" and 7" LED lights
  • Installed new wheels and tires
  • Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit
  • ACE rock sliders
I'll post more detail pics and updates on those things this weekend, but for the time being, feast your eyes on some quick shots I took in Oregon. I have footage on my drone from snow wheeling in Washington but I still need to pull the images there. I couldn't take out my drone in Oregon because it was raining pretty hard, so cell phone camera it was.

Love the build. You are in for so much fun.

Well when you roll through Michigan, contact me and we can do some off roading. I know the Michigan trail system well. We have an awesome local breakfast place and I can travel pretty much at will.
