My JL has had significant drift since i bout it in August. Recently, temp outside was 29 and i was traveling at 60 mph. I had great difficulty turning to the left in curves. It is almost felt like tires were flat. Tire pressures were normal. Problem did not happen turning to the right. Improved at slower speeds and resolved later in the day when temp above 35. What the heck?

Take in into the dealer. This should be a programming issue. Mine use to do that as well as many others. You can show them my YouTube video as well.

Sorry for the double post....I worked with a Jeep care folk for my 2 door with the same issue, all they did for me was get me appointments. I was still told by the dealer it is a Jeep thing, and nothing is wrong with the steering. It is a pain to keep dropping off the Jeep and get told the same thing. I regret my purchase and may look at a 3rd party fix.

So I was having this issue on my new 19ā€™ JL Rubicon. I took it in to the dealer today to have a look again. The alignment was already checked and the tires were replaced. My wife just received a call from the dealership. They said that Jeep just released an updated fix as of 3 days ago. They believe that the track bar needs replaced and are checking all of the front end bushings for tightness and correct torque. I can update on this issue once we get it back. But my dealer has been great trying to resolve this issue and Jeep seems to be trying to make it right. So Iā€™m hopeful this will make it right.

I would like to know if there is a STAR case for this please! My Jeep is at the dealer right now for the second time because of the horrific steering.

I can find out when I pick mine back up. They are waiting on a new track bar. Once I get it and drive it home Iā€™ll comment more.

Not at the moment. Wife went and picked it up, made it about 2 minutes down the road. They apparently forgot to align the front end after the wok. So we will have to wait another day.

HI Grayce's mom,

I am terribly sorry to hear that this has happened. Please send us a private message with your VIN and mileage so that we can provide an additional layer of assistance while your Jeep is in service.

So, someone has to have a near death experience before you take notice? If the number of threads on this issue is any indication, then this is a huge problem and can't be fixed on a case by case basis. Issue a recall for gods sake. Not only are the jeep owners at risk here. Someone driving a jeep is eventually going to drift into oncoming traffic and kill someone else. What are you guys thinking?
