According to Prodigy my 2018 JL Sport S will be the first consumer installation for this new product. They have done nomerous JK installations. They claim an increase in RWHP of 63%. That means from 247 dyno tested to 401. (285 stock at the crank and 247 at the axel) My final tuning should be finished this week. Ken, the designer of this kit and chief engineer for Prodigy flew into Houston today to personally oversee the finished product before it is turned over to me. It has been a long and ardious task, 3 months, but hopefully the results will be worth it. I will be ihaving the Jeep independently tested and will post the results. At an installed cost of over $10000 it better be good. I currently have the stock 3.45 gear ratio but as soon as I can afford it I will be changing it to a 4.10. Of course this will cause reprommaning the PCM but it should really increase the 0-60 acceleration and low end torque. I have to admit that my goal is not so much off roading but looking mean while being a sleeper.

Updated after install!

Here are pics of the turbo kit with my Borla S-Type axel back exhaust before install and after install as well as my Jeep itself. I am having it Dyno tested Monday. This test will be at the rear axel with the wheels off. When the testers other Dyno is back up I will also have it tested with the wheels on to show how much additional loss there is then.

Actually the tune is not totally complete as it has a stumble at 75-80 mph. Prodigy is still working on this.

My JL is an 8 speed automatic. I also have the Mopar 2” lift kit.

Dyno:

Basically it reads about 350 RWHP at 5800 RPMsith 325 FtLb torque at 5280 RPM. Not bad but not the advertised 401 RWHP. Prodigy has received these results and has already offered a new improved tune. It will be implemented Thursday and next Monday I hope to re Dyno test it again.

Dragy results:

I would wait for gears and drive it around for a while. You may not need to rehear unless you’re slapping on much bigger wheels and tires. I’m curious to know what your new torque curve will look like.

If you are going to run 35-37” tires I would gear 4.88 or 5.13

Why spend $10k? The Edelbrock E-Force is slated to be out soon with similar power, a 36,000 mile full driveline warranty, and all for about $6k.

$10k isn't bad for a turbo kit installed and tuned. If he wants speed the turbo will be faster and make more in almost every situation, just not when he's caught off guard out of boost.

Please don't take this the wrong way but I must be doing something wrong if spending $10K on a turbo is not bad.. My wife would have my head and roundies if I even talked about spending that kind of coin on performance. Lucky I even got a cam for my Camaro :) .. Wish I were like others. Sorry.. back to topic. Good luck OP .. I'm jealous.
