If I may, an accessory for your accessory, or at least some friendly advise....

If you're going to open the carpeting below the mat's drain plugs to the ground below, think twice, of at least watch this video regarding the problems and solutions with same if you haven't already.

I thought about doing what the video suggested, but I don't like the idea of the floor mats being glued down. I removed the carpet over the plug and popped the mats in. I don't plan on fording deep waters (but you never know I guess) so I'd like to hear feedback if this is indeed a good idea.

My wife got me the poison spyder fire extinguisher holder and the pineapple grenade gear shifter and my parents got me the Moab trail book. The grenade I’ll just keep as a conversational piece. I also got some accessories for my GoPro, which I’ll use in Colorado next summer.

Well, I ordered my TeraFlex Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 fast adjust steering stabilizer on Black Friday, but there was a national backorder on them and it's not being delivered until tomorrow. I guess it now qualifies as a Christmas present!

I thought about doing what the video suggested, but I don't like the idea of the floor mats being glued down. I removed the carpet over the plug and popped the mats in. I don't plan on fording deep waters (but you never know I guess) so I'd like to hear feedback if this is indeed a good idea.

What I did: I left the carpeting intact

Why I did it: I'm not one to take the rig off road, but that's me.

Weathertech front, rear, and cargo area mats for the JLUR. The SLP bull bar and a stealth front plate bracket from Maximus 3. A bearded punisher hitch cover from Kempter Kustoms. And a fob holster from Gibson Leatherworks. Very pleased with the quality fit and finish to everything. Now i'm just missing the truck to put it all on.

The JL had a good Christmas but it will have to wait until January. Unfortunately I'm busy with work and can't get to it until then. Look for the pics on my build thread around mid-January.
