Two ACL surgeries (one on each leg) and she still jumps in, even after the 35s.
Have to keep a crate in there, she loves the going for the ride, but she can't settle down once underway.
Much safer for all of us.

I had a golden that would jump out of the back of pickups. Also had a basset that would try to jump out of my tj. Not sure I can trust my current golden without a harness and a rope strung across the roll bars.Serious question - anyone have their dog jump out when the top is down/off?
I haven’t taken my boy out in the Jeep, yet, because he’s the kind of dope that would definitely do that at a stop. I’m gonna get one of those harnesses, maybe. Also, right now my Jeep is the only possession I have that isn’t covered in dog hair.
I have 2 Golden’s, Amen, I completely understand. Dog hair is a way of life. I wouldn’t change a thing.Serious question - anyone have their dog jump out when the top is down/off?

Tumbleweeds... We’re having people over, tomorrow, and I’ve vacuumed 3 times since yesterday morning. I’m gonna have to do it, again, right before they arrive.I have 2 Golden’s, Amen, I completely understand. Dog hair is a way of life. I wouldn’t change a thing.
I’m with you! I tell people when they come over, if they don’t mind dog hair just don’t come in. I guess that’s why I love my dogs more than most people I know.Tumbleweeds... Expensive puppy! I got a foxhound/whippet mix that just tore his second ACL this past weekend. Two ACL surgeries (one on each leg) and she still jumps in, even after the 35s.
