For all you people who don’t understand why any kind of back pressure is bad and what really causes it; watch the below video. So now everyone who accesses this thread will stop using the term back pressure incorrectly.

I will say it one more time to clear out any incorrect definitions and what really causes back pressure; exhaust restrictions. As I’ve been saying, along with many other people, the muffler delete systems addressed on this thread only do one thing, remove restrictions and ONLY do one thing, improve exhaust flow, which only does one thing; improves an engine’s output and efficiency.

Educate yourself before you spout off on incorrect facts.

Again, you’re opinion vs. real world JL experience. Did you look under your Jeep yet and see that the 2.5” pipe is squished nearly flat after the cat?

Just admit that you’re opinion is moot.
Please post the dyno charts to back up your claim. That will help many people (like me) who are considering his mod. Without evidence/proof, you're just a guy posting an opinion.

Hopefully this will put this thread to bed. Here’s a real world example of how it sounds.

It’s a V6 so it doesn’t mimic a 4 cylinder fart can and it doesn’t steal torque from the bottom end. I’m in 4-low.
I hear more of the motor than the exhaust in your video, which may be a good thing for some people.

Has anyone made their own pipe? Seems 1 (maybe 2) 90 degree bend pipes would be much cheaper.

Yeah I kind of saw that myself. The original intent was to express the muffler delete pipe does one thing; removes the stock exhaust muffler restriction and as a consequence of this you get the added benefits of improved exhaust flow, engine output and efficiency.

IMO, it only upsets someone who doesn't have this added performance accessory to their vehicle and can't benefit from it.

need to make sure it’s California legal I live in SoCal.
Also does anybody know if we have to remove the tow hook on the driver side?

About 20% or so. We are working on a video too!!!
Some folks are selling their stock axle-back and making a little $$$ too.
We’re still waiting , also there are many follow up questions that members have. You were very good about coming here and showing us your new product , now how about following up.

I have the comparable Flowmaster delete muffler pipe; no tow hook removal required.

Installed this today. It is a bit louder but not too much for me. I am however used to cars with louder exhaust so adding this to my Jeep isn't a big deal.
