Here we go, This is Sunday afternoon when the snow stopped enough to venture outside... You can see in the background my neighbor's van in the ditch. (made it one house down)

Undisturbed snow, before the tennis ball was thrown out there and Charlie got to romp around.

Unfortunately, one of our historic buildings collapsed due to the storm. This was the Nissen Wagon Works building that predated the merger of Winston and Salem into one city.

After cleaning her off and making it to work this morning.

Great pics, but that’s sad re: the building. Was anyone injured?

Ah, okay. I guess I'm just used to hearing my brothers talk about all the snow getting dumped on them in Rochester during their time living up there (both went to the same college)

This, by the way is the reason I got the Jeep in the first place. Last winter I struggled through with a 4X2 pickup that loved to slide around at the slightest hint of slippage.

I hate 4x2 pickups in the snow. Like riding a fish....

Funny story, I was in Lake Tahoe with some friends skiing one winter, we stopped at a restaurant for breakfast and one of my friends orders hash browns and says to the Hispanic waitress "Please cook the bejesus out of them." (cuz he likes his has browns crunchy.) A little later the waitress brings him his hash browns covered in cheese.
