Hey Jeeples! Sorry I've been so quiet today...tons of adulting. :asshat:

1) I helped my buddy assemble his new computer last weekend, so now I want one. :piggybank::piggybank::piggybank: Planning to do this in phases - new GFX and case first, then mobo/cpu/ram. Been spec'ing that out today (ok, not quite adulting there)
2) Got notice that the tunnel inspections are back on...starting tomorrow! So, today was spent booking a hotel, planning the trip, and AJ's favorite, doing laundry. (my timer just went off for the dryer!) - Silver lining: Gabrielle is making the trip this time!
3) The inspections will last right up until Christmas. I have to bail early so I can fly back to Seattle to see the family. This means I will sleep in my own bed only 3 more times this year :crying:. 2018 is finishing up as chaotic as it can!

Once I'm up at the tunnel, I should be able to be a bit more regular here (at least during the evening hours).

Just wanted to remind you all that I didn't forget ya! ;):fist bump:

Busy is good, but sad you won’t have your own bed. Hope your hotel is comfy.

Was able to swing a Residence Inn this time around. Nothing super fancy, except that it has a kitchen!

Who uses a hotel kitchen? :giggle::giggle::giggle: You have delivery!

Oh. Crockpot Chris. (And someone who actually has delivery access daily). I have never had a permanent address that had any available delivery establishments.

Meh... Fun has it's risks.

I don't recommend you do it RA, you need to keep that knee good for schussing. And clutching Gamora...
Ya, I’m trying to place limits on the stupid things I get up to.

The cost/benefit analysis is real...

(Though I’m happy to say I’ve been doing low box jumps in physio lately, and doing various hopping/jumping exercises. It’s an exciting improvement that is a big part of the oath back to fun. Also today, balancing with both feet on separate inflatable discs, in a squat, while throwing and catching a medicine ball. It’s exciting to be doing things that feel like ā€˜real’ exercises...)

We went to A&W tonight because were both tired. That looks a lot better though :)
Last night (with the other half of the chuck roast I bought last thursday) I decided to try something different. I took a store-bought "au jus" gravy packet and mixed it with a couple of cups of water. Fired up the instant pot, browned the roast on both sides and then poured the "au jus" mixture over it, a sliced onion on top of the roast, and cooked it on high for 50 minutes. Turned out great.
