New to the forum so I apologize because I know this topic has been talked to death. I need some experienced advice as my 2019 JLUR 3.6L 6 speed is on order and I was planning on installing a Mopar 2" with 35s.

Yes, I prefer the look of the 37s BUT this will be my daily driver (~120km/day highway) so concerned about the ride, handling, road noise, need to regear - don't care about fuel economy, tire wear.

SO without getting highjacked by pictures of 2" lifts and 37s can people please post some pictures of their Rubicons with 35s and lifts. Does this actually exist?

1) for those that do have this setup are you happy with your choice of 35s?
2) those with 37s can you give some feedback on the above concerns as a daily driver?

Thanks!

1 suggestion, please test drive it before you have the lift put on. My daughter did not and it drove like crap. The dealer blamed the lift but if you’ve been on this site you have read about the steering issues. She got rid of it because she hated it so much.

Once that lift is on they can tell you there is nothing they can do. Good luck!

If you are not concern about fuel economy or tire wear why not just jump to 37’s and save you the hassle of doing a second purchase after you ride on the 35’s and wish you would have just done it from the beginning, since you said you prefer the look.

I have a 6spd Rubi and 37’s that I drive daily, and my commutes are not just down the road, they are back and forth across town sometimes doing over 100 miles a day. I find it awesome to drive and don’t regret it one bit. I went back and forth, like you for all the same reasons, but ultimately decided to skip the 35’s and I’m glad I did. I think the 37’s are a great match for the Rubi plus it looks better with the highline fenders, But sometimes I look at it and think I may go a little bigger next time..... 38-40’s.

As for the road noise and ride comfort, tires play a big roll in that so do your research. Look into the load range and watch your tire pressure.

Running a smaller wheel instead of a larger one will also have an impact on your ride comfort.

Whatever you decided get what YOU want and whatever makes you happy.

Daily with Mopar lift actually got 3.5” from it with being a sport model. 20x12 on 35” K02. Tires are quite ride isn’t the greatest bit more firm suspension now but still love it. Had the wobble until I replaced Stabilizer.

2 inch Mopar lift, 18x9 Fuel Beasts 35x12.5x18 Goodyear Duratrac... Rides just like stock.. I am debating 37s however.

My opinion is that a 35 tire looks the best on an 18 inch wheel like these, your Jeep looks good like it is. Wear them 35"s out and then consider 37's.

I however am to cheap to buy new wheels after spending 56k on a new Jeep so I will be running 315 Duratracs (aka 35's) on mine with a 2 inch mopar lift. Im sure it will look fine to me!!
