It wasn't a cricket. It looked more like a praying mantis but it wasn't green like I've seen in the past, it was more a light brown.

Speaking of kids and buying (or loaning) them things. Seems I can't loan my daughter(s) anything without it being returned fucked up.

I loaned my middle daughter a nice solid-wood card table I bought off CL and this is how it gets returned to me.

Looks like oak with a mahogany stain. Not that you really wanna, but you could strip it down and it would look really awesome returned to oak. I did it with a really old oak table that looked like shit, turned out pretty dang nice when done. I'll have to shoot a pic of it. I wish I had the before pic.
