Hey y’all new JL owner switching from my JK as a Christmas present for me after deployment. This is also my first manual in a few years (was driving a manual work car overseas). Not sure if this is isolated or not, but after 2k miles when I go to 4th gear and accelerate to about 3k RPM, I hear a humming sound not like it’s grinding and I feel a vibration in the shifter then RPMs drop to 2k. At first I thought my speed was low but it did the same thing when I accelerated high on 3rd gear and switched to 4th and went to 70-80mph and the RPM didn’t go far past 2600 crawling back to 3k. A lot of people at work have told me even if I was burning out my clutch it shouldn’t have happened after 2k miles. Any advice? Will warranty cover (I’m like 99% sure it is)? Thanks in advance
