Where Have All the 2DR Rubicons Gone?

My 2Dr Rubicon was built November 3rd but has been sitting in JB status since that date. I know a lot of people are in the same delay but, I am also seeing Jeeps ordered after mine that are being shipped. It is ridiculous not knowing what the delay is and how long it will last. I have even learned that dealers have 2019 JL's sitting on their lots.

So, I started building my jeep at Jeep.com to see what is available. I am located in NE Georgia. I am within driving distance to Atlanta or Charlotte, NC. To my surprise the only 2DR Rubicon I could find on a dealers lot for sale was in Tallahassee, FL. Ironically it was fully loaded with every option so apparently their is no truth to the rumor that Jeep is waiting on accessories needed to be installed. There seems to be many $DR's on dealers Lot's

If you are waiting on a 2dr JL this may tell us they are not actively building 2DR's. Any additional information would be appreciated.

I have a 2 door rubicon lots of options and 3.6 auto. Been in kz for almost 2 weeks now. Getting anxious to finally get it. Ordered 9/24 or 25 dont remember.

4 doors out sell 2 doors something like 8 to 2 so naturally there are less of them around.

There was a thread about 2dr JLR with manual trans having vibration issues. Maybe that has something to do with it?

i have an '18 two door rubicon 6 speed. i do get a little vibration, but only when at idle and not moving.

i had to wait four and a half months for mine to get built. i am sure it was partly due to limited LED availability as well as being a 2 door.

mine is sting gray, if that had anything to do with it.

I'm waiting on mine. Ordered 25 Oct and not even built yet, 6 speed 3.6.

The only things that were not on my wife's Jeep are : Black hard top, Smokers grp, polished lip wheels.

I know there is a rail car shortage right now, so if your jeep has been built and passed inspection, your basically waiting for a train to be built to your area

I happened to drive by my local Jeep dealership today and saw only 1 '19 Wrangler on the lot (didn't look close, just the front line). It's a white 2 door Rubicon. Hmm...

I ordered my 2 door Rubicon on 10/10 it is a 6 speed 3.6, hardtop with no other options, and I 'm still waiting too

I just ordered my 2dr Rubi on Monday but the manager said the order wouldn't go in until second week of December because ordering only opens second week of the month. So that delays mine by 3 weeks. I've ordered a lot of cars but first time I've had to wait for the order to go to the factory.

Took 7 weeks from order at end of August to delivery end of October and I’ve got a unicorn. 2DR Rubicon with a 6-spd, steel bumpers and LEDs.

The factory cutover was Nov. 1st to the 2019s but they still had 2018 orders to complete. At a minimum you’re looking at 6-8 weeks from order to destination and it will test your will!
