Good day

I have a 2018 Sahara with approx. 1500 miles on it. Since I took it from the dealer i have felt like its idled rough and constant heavy vibration in the engine so much to the point that you can physically see the seats and the front tires shaking

I have took it to the dealer twice but dealership didn't help at all!

The first time he said that he had the exhaust aligned and the second time nothing was done!

I have had 5 wranglers and all of my previous cars didnā€™t do this, every car I have had was idles smooth and consistent!

I feel that the issue is something very silly and simple maybe a coil or a spark plug or something related to the throttle !!!

Any one is facing the same situation and knows a permanent solution for this issue?

I really hated the car and the dealer and regret buying it !

When exactly does it have these symptoms? Is it constant, sitting at a stop lights, coming to a stop, taking off from a stop?

There was a recent tsb that is supposed to address a rough idle along with the loud fan I think. Give it a read and see if it sounds like your issue. It can be found easily on the forum and Iā€™m sure someone will post it soon.

There is a PCM flash (5 minute software update) mentioned in TSB 18-041-18 Rev B (October 16th) that fixes rough idling. Seems dealerships rarely check TSBs for some odd reason. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...r-jl-wrangler-check-your-jl-for-recalls.9784/

And they love it when you bring up a tsb. Because you can't possibly know more than someone who doesn't have your vehicle.
Agreed. If I was a service manager at a dealership, I would be embarrassed that a customer knew more than a "team of professionals". I'd have some serious training for the service advisors, techs, and any other necessary employees in how to do basic 101 research. Then have "how to research your own vehicle brand's information" course added to the employee orientation process to prevent it going forward. And those who were still too stupid or lazy to spend a few minutes and look it up in their internal system where a non-professional can Google and find it in 3 minutes (embarrassing the dealership yet again), I'd fire them.

I noticed you are from Saudi Arabia. You might want to mention which engine you have. We don't get the same engine choices. Currently we only have two engine choices. We have the 2.0 turbo with e-Torque (BSG) and the 3.6 with ESS.

I've never had a service adviser get defensive when I say "I'm experiencing the symptoms described in TSB xxx-xxx" or whatever. The service department's goal is to maximize billable work and minimize un-billable work; immediately performing a TSB without extensive diagnostics is one of the more profitable activities for a service department.

I went yesterday to the dealership and I showed him the PCM flash , I guess this version haven't arrived to Saudi yet , I don't know what's preventing them to ask for it from the regional dealership !!
