Sure looks like the stock airbox on both of them! The edlebrock looks to include a new factory airbox to throttle body pipe, where as the sprintex uses the complete factory intake. I like that spark plug access on the driver side is so much easier on both of them. I've had to pull plugs on a couple Jeeps on the trail that inhaled water. Luckily I carry a fairly large tool box, as pulling those plugs can be a pain with the factory intake manifold.

The HP & TQ gain were not posted, but I would look at the setups for the JK and expect similar. I would not expect the same peak numbers as a Turbo or centrifugal style supercharger but the power is usually available much lower in the RPM range. The sprintex had a $6500 MSRP.

You could et a JK pentastar kit and out it on.. the only thing different is tuning... I put a procharger jk kit on my jl and it was fine..

Iirc on the jk the edelbrack mad an additional 100hp and used the stock airbox.

I'll bet those sound really good under throttle too. I love the whine of a roots style blower.

I almost pulled the trigger on a used edelbrock one a few months ago on craigslist. $2k. Likeli would fit the jl but with my jl being bought back decided to wait.

I contacted Edelbrock today and they stated that they have nothing in the works for the JL. Really surprised me since they had posted at SEMA that it would soon be available.
