Finally got around to finishing the Metalcloak 3.5 inch gamechanger with rock sport shocks. Shout out to @swampcat14 for the help along the way as we ran into a few issues.

Now, I'm trying to figure out what size tires and wheels we want to get to go with it. I was thinking 35s so we could get more articulation but when I see 37s it looks so good! I'm torn. Eventually, this car will also become a commute car for my work week which is about 150 miles a week. So need to try to figure that out. Here are the pictures with stock tires/wheels right now.

If you have any suggestions regarding tires/wheels I would be grateful to hear them! Next on our list is getting the vehicle aligned. After, we'll be installing the under armor and then we need to find some rock sliders. After it all, it will be time for the first trip! :D

Can I have your dog please :D
Haha. I refer to him as my cuddle buddy. Heā€™s great at it when heā€™s not frolicking in dirt around the yard :p

I too have Hella Yella Rubicon. Like those decals, can you tell me where you got them, or are they custom? Nice way to break up all that yellow.

The Jeep looks great, I know we have some big fans of yellow over here!! We really love the 37 or 38" tire paired with the 3.5" and have been running that since the lift was installed. We have drove to Moab from Northern California and the fuel mileage is way better than in the JK with the new 8 speed transmission! Plus with the Rubicon you have a way easier time running 37s with the wider axle, you can use a wheel with 4.5" of backspace and be good to go. Here is ours with 38s, it does have our Overland Fenders which open them up a little bit compared to yours.

Thanks for the photos @CloakedJL

We ordered up some Patagonia MT 37's on some non beadlocked wheels (mainly because the jeep will see more pavement than dirt)

After seeing @Kevin8086 dominate in these things we feel it will work great given we'll be no where near as hardcore as Kevin! Ha! :D

Just under armor, dif covers, and sliders left and we'll be heading out to play on the rocks!

Just did the same front bumper myself. Love it! Just waiting on lights/winch to be delivered.

That's a suave looking Jeep! :D

If we didn't need the extra room in ours we'd definitely do a two door!

They are the Mopar Decal. We bought them when they went on sale at quadratec.

They were like $80 when we bought them. Not sure why they're so expensive now.
They've gone up considerably since you purchased them at 80 bucks. $215.00 now, but thanks for sharing.

We need to figure out how we're going to mount the spare tire right now but haven't been a whole lot of thought in considering I've been working. Need to give the Jeep a full test drive too with the new wheels/tires to see how she feels. The 37s do look really good and I'm happy with the choice. I'm sure my MPG is gonna tank and stuff but oh well, it's a jeep! ha

Nice!! I'm still getting 16-17 mpg with my 37s. It all depends on how you drive.

Good to hear! Iā€™m sitting at 17mpg pre 37s ha. So weā€™ll see what we end up as. Maybe I need to drive better lol!
