AUX switches - Enabling with flashcal

So I just installed the aux switches and enabled them with my tuner. The aux switches menu is showing up in the settings tab, but the switaches themselves aren't working.

Does the jeep need to go through some cycling before the switches start working? I've got something connected on the 1st and 2nd wire.

I've double checked the connections, the re-pinned orange wire and the power and grounds and everything seems fine. No error lights when I power on the jeep.

The strange thing is that the aux menu has been enabled on the uconnect, but the the switches aren't working.

Same thing here. If I go to the dealer and they can get it to work then we will know its the flashcal. I will keep you updated.

How difficult was that installation? I'm thinking about installing it as well.

Not too difficult. It took about 3 or 4 hours. Get a fishing wire from home depot if you dont already have one (electrical dept). It will make things easier.

Take the red cap off the harness and use a bent bobby pin to pop out the orange wire.

These tips will make sense once you get into the install.

Jim from flashcal claims they will have new update this week to enable AUX switches. Let you know when I find out.

@krazyboi .... This is not true.

Indeed, the dealership can activate AUX, but there is one JL programmer, presently that can in fact activate Aux on the JL. That programmer has been able to activate AUX, since August 2018.
