TeraFlex JL Wrangler Build. Debuts Nomad Wheels With Air Down Feature [SEMA 2018 - JLWF Coverage]

Check out the Teraflex JL build at SEMA 2018. The coolest thing we saw on the build are the TeraFlex Nomad wheels, which have a built-in air down feature.

Twisting the air down knob on the wheel will air-down the tires to a predetermined PSI. The PSI is preset via an adjustment screw that sets the spring preload. Pressures can be preset to as low as 10 PSI.

Airing up is accomplished like a regular tire. The air-up knob covers and protects the Schrader valve to eliminate damage from rocks. Simply remove to inflate via Schrader valve.

The Nomad wheel is 8" wide with 4.75" backspacing and also features a rash resistor ring. Pricing has not yet been announced, but availability is expected in early 2019.

OK, the CHMSL relocate with the bicycle style quick release is such an elegant solution. Makes me wish I didn't already buy the Mopar.

I know their 3.5" lift -- front bracket for the track bar is suppose to ship out any time now. I'm waiting on mine. They didn't include it with the first few lifts they released.

Right and not being able to control the pressure. I'll use the old way but mainly I've been looking through the SEMA stuff trying to see who is doing something different/innovative and not just painting everything a crazy color

They look like semi-beadlocks. Would let you go lower in pressure than a normal wheel but not as low as a true beadlock

That's what I am waiting on as well, a 2.5" suspension lift not the current spacer one they have. I'll just use this time to save money and do other mods (i.e. skid plate protection)
