2019 Model Year has begun. Looks like it started sometime last night. Thanks everyone for your patience. I'll keep everyone updated when I start seeing the 3.6 BSG , 3.0 Diesel or anything else that might be new.

Will the 2019 model changes also apply to the export models with the 2.2L diesel and the 2.0 turbo?

so the 3.6 engines going in the 2019 dont have the BSG as yet or are they running 2.0 T for the ramp up?

Be sure you test drive your new 2019 JL before you take ownership of it. Drive it for at least 20 minutes on the highway to make sure it isn't severely drifting (lower tire pressure to the door jam spec first of course) or doesn't require massive constant correction to keep it in lane. It looks like the 2019 is using the same steering box as the 2018. Many people who just got their 2018 have reported steering problems.

Also, while the engine is on and is in park, make sure when you turn your steering wheel that the tires turn immediately not after 3 to 4 inches. Some play is ok, but not 3 to 4 inches. You can do this by standing outside with the driver's window down so you can clearly see the tires.

This short action item can save you tons of anguish. Oh, and won't hurt if you insist on having it put on a rack so you can check the welds on the frames. For some reason, the welding recall says "2018 - 2019" on it. For more information:

So far today we're just running 3.6 ESS, 2.0 ESS and 2.0 BSG. I haven't seen any diesel engines or any right hand drives. Has been more than normal 3.6 ESS Manuals today.
