I thought so too, but since my earlier post, I've added the Teraflex 1.5" lift. That gave me back the gap in the wheel wells that I lost going to 35's.
I have no intention of going any higher, as it's my daily and a little bit of a stretch for me to now to climb in.

They measure 17x8.5 with 5.2in Backspace (+10 offset)
I have been looking at the Quadratec 41 w/ BFG 315/70R17 KO2s. Have you experienced any offroad clearance issues? How does your set-up mount onto the stock tire carrier?

I use a set of HANKOOK DYNAPROLT 315/75X16MT ON MY PROCOMP ALLOY 16X8 WHEELS and using the spare tire mount/w 30psi in the tires --

The tire fits/w a "BRUSH" PUSH---ON THE STOCK STEEL BUMPER-which is GREAT !

Thanx--

16" wheels will fit, but-

You need at least 4" back space, so the balance weights don't touch the CALIPERS--there's about 1/4" clearance between the rim and CALIPER--AT THE INSIDE RIM EDGE, BUT LESS THAN 1/8: CLEARANCE 3": IN, TOWARD THE RIM MATING FACE--

Good luck
