I tried to order my 2019 two door Rubicon in Mojito last week and the dealer told me he could not order yet. He said the order banks were open for the four-cylinder turbo but not the 3.6 yet.

I had no problem ordering 3.6 2 door Rubi last week. Perhaps the order banks got full and the 2.0 is the only config that has any allocation left during this period. You may have to wait until the October allocation opens if that’s what happened.

I was curious how much my Rubi would cost if I ordered it today. It would cost me $49,100 MSRP vs the $47,800 window sticker on my 2018. And they've cut the fuel tank size by one gallon!!!
A 2-door JL is 17.5 gas tank capacity. What tank capacity do you have?

The supposedly discontinued Mojito still lives on and we officially have a Rubicon V6 automatic. still no BSG.

2018 two door has 18.5 capacity according to my build sheet.

The 2018 buyers guide has the 2-door JL gas tank capacity listed at 17.5 gallons. I wonder if there is misprint somewhere? Or did they reduce it by one gallon?

Yes, based on the thread I started a little bit ago about my seemingly diminished fuel tank capacity, maybe the 18.5 is the misprint. It does seem odd that they would reduce the tank size.

I was hoping for a larger tank to extend driving range. At least there is the 2.0 and soon available diesel for a little extra range.

Yes larger would have been nice. Just looked at the OM and found the attached showing 18.5/17.5. What's the deal with that?

The plot thickens? I wonder if the 2-door JL 2.0 and 3.6 have different size gas tanks now? You have the 2.0 or 3.6?

I've got the 3.6 and my build sheet says 18.5. I was thinking the same thing, but it seems odd that they would have different gas tanks. Unless the 2.0 has extra components that wouldn't fit with the larger tank.

A little extra cruising range was a possible benefit of the 2.0. It looks like that might not be the case if the 2.0 has a smaller tank. Maybe someone with a 2.0 engine will post what size gas tank their build sheet says.
