Order Anti-spin Limited Slip Differential Rear Axle or not.

I have previously owned a 2004TJ and a 2008JK. I will be buying a JL 2Door after they have been out for a few months. I will be using it as a daily driver and some off-roading. Nothing too extreme, mostly forest roads and high passes, not rock crawling. My question to all you Wrangler owners with more experience than me, do I need the LSD or not?

I think the consensus is if you can get it, you should get it.

Dana 44 is a very nice side benefit of getting it.

Oh I see that now. Dana 44HD comes with the LSD. Sounds like a bargain now.

Along with the 44 you also get an upgrade to all terrain tires. def worth it.

Do you know if that's true on the Sport and Sport S? The configurator only asks for which A/T tires you want if you are building a Sahara?

It asks to select A/T tires in Sport 4 door but not 2 door. Maybe an error in the configurator or A/T only included with 4 door?

It's an error with the config. you can look at the order guide. as long as you order the 44 you get two different a/t options. here's one option and the other is listed in the comments..

the goodyear at kevlar got better ratings and treadlife ratings than the BF tire option fwiw.

Can you get SelecTrac without getting the anti spin rear differential? Or is it required package deal?

As of last week when I made my order, adding in the LSD made me choose an AT tire with my order without needing the upgraded rims. That was on 12/28 so if something changed, it’s pretty recent.
