What you want to know is: axle width, wheel width, wheel offset. With those three measures you are set to make comparisons.

I don't think 1.5" difference in axle width will be a problem in terms of what most people might want to do. Aftermarket wheels come in various offsets. I don't see a problem installing a wheel with less positive offset (protrudes outward more from vehicle) an extra 0.75" each side, in case the owner wants same overall width as Rubicon. In fact, I wouldn't mind a bit more outside "dish" on a wheel for added protection of the wheel outer surface.

Remember the axles are 1.5" wider per side. So if the backspacing is 6" it's like having a 4.5" backspacing. I can't wait too start modding a JL. Very much looking forward to it.
I believe the axles are 1.5" wider per axle not per side.

I hear they're talking about some new Wrangler on there. I think they call it a "TJ." Of course they're saying it's just going to be a piece of plastic junk and the YJ is the last "real" Jeep.

I have read 3" total that the axle will be wider but I have read alot of mixed info in the last few months so I could be wrong. Now sure if Jeep has actually released this measurement

Having owned two billet silver JKs I'm going to have to say that it is Billet Silver. Granite looks much darker in low light. I nearly purchased one based off internet photos but it was too dark in person.
Here is a Granite JK in low light
