I got the same basic answers as you. I called Jeep chat today and they said “not in the system.” I called my dealer and he said I am in D1 status and here’s your Vin number and your ship date. I called back to jeep chat with the last eight digits of my vin and they verified everything the dealer told me. I think the problem is cheap chat really can’t help with a VON number. I ordered on 9/26 with two restrictions 24R / steel bumper group

I ordered 9/20 with only one restriction: 24R. And I ordered a hardtop and LED lights and have an EST ship date of 11/5. So y'all shouldn't be too far behind.

So I’ve been watching tracking on jeepgarage and still wasn’t seeing an estimated ship date. Emailed the dealer today, and my 9/12 order is set to ship 11/2.

I ordered a 2018 Aug. 29th. Received build sheet two weeks ago with no ETA for delivery. I figure it’ll be off the line by the end of Oct. which translates, for those getting 2019 delivery notices in Nov., that the cut over at the factory begins.

Very concerned here. Let's hope they get this resolved as quickly as possible, and do a much better job at inspecting all the welds in the future.

As much as I want my Jeep now now now, I’d rather get one that doesn’t have this problem. Also, I will be selling my JKU after I get my new one, so it’s a much bigger issue to me to have sold my JKU and have to take the new one to the dealer for a week and be without a car, than to just keep driving my JKU for longer.

My dealer said that also. He said my 11/2/18 ship date is when the build process starts and expect 6-8 weeks after for the Jeep to arrive...

I hope none of our Jeeps get delayed by the frame weld issue. Jeep has known about it for months.

While I'd like my Jeep as soon as possible, I'd much rather it be delayed a couple weeks and be 100% certain there are no issues with the welds on our 2019s.
