Stop this nonsense, you're a civilian!Tomorrow’s alarm will be back to 3:30![]()
Thanks for the reassurance. I was pretty sure it was all bunk anyhoo. Kinda fun to talk about tho and make fun of it. Mark absolutely loves to bash me regularly on all the shit that is gonna happen to Wrikki. According to him, it's also why he got the winch, to haul me out when Wrikki kicks the bucket. He's still a good buddy. (for now)Interesting factoid...I was talking Jeeps with one of the other Jamboree trail guides I've known for a few years. He runs the parts department for a Jeep dealer in Raleigh, ranked 80th in volume for the country. His department services / supplies many of the body shops and other dealers in NC, southern VA, Myrtle Beach and Eastern Tenn. He says they see a fair share of weird electronics issues (first thing the service dept does is check fuse tightness, lol), but nothing like the doom and gloom general section trolls talk about. He says the biggest issue they have seen is a problem with the cooling system where the module responsible for the fans goes bad and that it requires a complete radiator replacement. The Jeeps don't overheat, but the fans don't come on at the right time causing a hot condition. I haven't seen that one mentioned very often over in the trash heap. And he says Rubicons are not ticking time bombs. Feel better about that Mike?
Red sky at morning, sailors take warning!Red sky in the morning! Storms today!![]()
Rough timing for sure! It's been a day. Had to go grab a new boot drive for my PC because I guess it died on the trip. No internet to get things running properly until Friday. Going to bed, have a great night Jeeples![]()

Sorry Mike... that Pinto Jeep is not gonna make it past the first oil change... You might as well trade it in for the most basic sport you can order, because nothing has ever gone wrong in a sport! Thanks for the reassurance. I was pretty sure it was all bunk anyhoo. $29,440 for the most stripped down one I could build... no A/C, manual crank windows and manual locks, Manual transmission, but it still comes with Engine destroying features such as push button starter, ESS and dual overhead cams....Check!
