Nothing against the Rubicon or Sahara or 4 doors, but the 2 Dr sports don't get a lot of love on the forums and not everything applies to them. The aftermarket has been slow to release 2Dr specific parts and not everything is interchangeable from a 2Dr to 4Dr or the other models. So I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to 2Dr sports whether it be a new mod you did or accessory you bought or whatever. I'm just starting out with mine and am already finding a lot conflicting information about what works and what doesn't and thought others might also.

I haven't done much so far, it's only three weeks old but I'm working on the list of required equipment by my local clubs so I can do some trail riding. I did get black Weathertech floor liners for the front and they fit perfect (part #4413131).

I installed the trailer hitch leftover from my JK and it fit perfect. HOWEVER, the wire harness is completely different and you need an auxiliary harness with switching module that requires a 12v lead run up to the fuse box in the engine compartment. Something like this:

So post a picture of what you got or what you've done and hopefully this thread will stay alive for a while and be a resource for future 2Dr sport owners.

Thank you for starting this 2-doors thread. What a wonderful idea.

Anyone in the Philadelphia area may want to check out these brand new 2 door Mopar side steps listed for sale on CL.

I have the same steps installed on mine, and it’s a nice improvement. I paid quite a bit more for them too. I doubt it took me 10 minutes to install them.

I'll second the vote for the Mopar side steps. I really dislike "side steps", "running boards", etc, but have learned that since I live on a gravel road, ever since the TJ's they are imperative for keeping rock chips off the sides. These do the job well and don't look too horrible. :)

Hi I'm looking for 2 door accessories, nerf bars, side steps, bush or grill guards anything and I'm having a heck of a time. Any suggestions? The JK accessories are pretty reasonable and theirs a ton of them out there. I'm not even looking for high end. If you know of any? Thanks
As far as I know, all the things your looking for are the same for 2dr or 4dr except side steps/rock sliders, lifts and skid plates. There are some limited 2dr only things avalable, but I'm sure more will become available. JCR has some but third not cheap.

Just put these Rubicon wheels and tires on with no lift and plenty of clearance. I got it with the 6 speed, soon to be putting on a Rubicon lift or a teraflex lift, loving it so far.

That's a mighty fine looking Jeep - but I may be a bit biased as it's almost the twin of mine.

The grill inserts look good in the photo. Do they not look as good in person? Where did you purchase them?
The inserts I purchased seem good quality and fit well. I spent a lot of time dry fitting them before I pulled the tape off and stuck them in place.

Thanks. Wow that's a big price difference than some of the jk sites I have seen.
