For sure..she works hard at everything she does. I have to tell you my proudest moment. Oldest told me today that kids were being rude to her least favorite teacher. The teacher assigns entirely too much homework. (I agree with this assessment) Oldest complains to me quite a bit about her. Apparently, kids took to a bulletin board to write comments about the teacher..it started out nice and turned ugly quickly. Oldest read the messages and thought of how the teacher would feel. She took the offensive notes down, but the teacher had already read them. Oldest stayed after class today to speak with the teacher..remember this is her least favorite teacher. Oldest apologized for the other kids and said, “I’m sorry Ms. Xxxx. Kids today don’t think about the consequences of their actions.” Then she gave her a hug. THIS is my proudest moment

That’s amazing. There aren’t many kids who stand up to bullies when they go after other kids, let alone after an adult! That shows such character and empathy on her part.

F'n awesome! I'm with you, compassion is most impressive in kiddos. Learned by watching how her mom interacts with the world, most likely? Nice!

I have gaydar and I’ve never picked up on that...Kirk loved the galactic chicks, for sure.

Neither did I, but some people are dreamers. I forgot what the specific film term is but there is one for fans that make sexual fantasies out of nothing.

It’s actually a meme put on top of another used to be popular trend. We studied a little bit of it in a film class but essentially we were studying how some fan groups over sexualize characters into the fantasies they feel could/want to happen. In this case some “trekkies” felt that Spock and Kirk were gay and a lot of fan art was made over their sexual relationship.
