While it might be on that sheet, that is not where the information came from. The job 1 build date is from FCA. They are still building 2018s through October. There won't be 2018s and 2019s on the line at the same time.Everyone keeps saying that the 2019 MY will not start production untill October 29th I say that you can count info. Here is where that date came from look at this timeline. It hasn't been very accurate.
I spoke with Steve Stander (FCA rep) yesterday. He said 2019s would start 10/29 - 11/1 and those dates are fluid.
I don't necessarily agree with this. When there is a signifiant changeover at the model year break, the line typically stops and starts again. In this case, where it is a high volume line with no real changes between the model years, a manufacturer will not trickle down current year production to zero before beginning the next.
Mine was resolved and a Vin was issued. Last Wednesday.
Hard to say. If you got in the first allocation, I’d say mid to late November. If you’re in the second, there’s no telling - mid to late December?
Not surprising that most are on restriction. Most allocations for the first production run have been fulfilled.
