I do have mine mounted with a soft top, only disadvantage when you want to drop the top completely you have to remove it and then reinstall it. Only 2 14mm nuts though takes a whole 2 minutes. It will however do sunrider without removing. Other than that the mount works awesome and I recommend it! Just got done today making the jack mechanism not rattle so much though on bigger/jarring bumps.

@Moto_21 @Csward12 Thanks so much for the info. I really like the way this looks and the ability to add on an ax or shovel is awesome. I have the 2 door so space is a premium. Will be purchasing soon.

There is a model for hard and soft top, and a model for hardtop only.

Picked mine up from Santa Ana today, super easy install, and top notch customer service.

Rock solid and no rattles, I'm still blown away by the design.

Mine was clunking, I bought the neoprene cover and that quieted it down immensely.

Off road testing... Basically excellent. Only time I heard it was on some wash board road and no worse than any other clunking Jeep noise I've heard wheeling around. I'm get more and more impressed with this Jeep as I get it into harder trails off road. Will eventually get a neoprene cover but given my parts long wish list and todays results its not a huge hurry. Very happy with the end result of this mount!

I had a 48" mounted. I think that would be the limit.

I'm selling it in the marketplace section, switched to a 2-door and it doesn't fit.
