Announcing the JL Wrangler Forums and TFLcar Live Show Featuring the Jeep Wrangler JL in Studio!

When / Where: Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 1pm PT (2pm MT / 4pm ET). We'll post the link to the live stream soon as it goes live on Thursday! The session is expected to run approximately 1 hour.

What: TFLcar and JL Wrangler Forums are hosting a live interactive show where your Wrangler JL questions and/or requests will be answered or shown right from the studio. TFLcar is currently on their way back to Colorado from the Arizona press event and they’re making the trip in a 2018 Jeep Wrangeler Sahara with the One-Touch Power Top. They've specifically sought out questions and requests from JLWF members!

Why: This live show will go beyond the standard run-of-the-mill sit-down Q&A session. It will be an interactive experience where you can engage live with the studio. Have something you'd like to see close-ups or angles of? Want to see how something works or operates? Want to hear how different panels/materials sound when being knocked on? Just make the request live (or ask below) and we'll show you all this live in-studio! Of course, standard questions will be answered as well.

How: Please submit your requests and/or questions in this thread, or live during the Q&A session if you prefer to be spontaneous. Please keep in mind, we may not be able to get to every question/request during the one hour show. We'll make every attempt to group similar questions together and also follow up on unanswered question after the show.

Can you please get us the full specs on the Rubicon axles? How do they directly compare to the 2017 Recon axles?

I would like to ask them to make a video getting the power top off and back on, despite "not being recommended by jeep". Maybe they could also show us how it looks with the power top on but with the doors and back windows removed. Finally some comments on the new automatic transmission would be nice.

And how does the Sahara/Sport axles compare to the JK Sahara/Sport axels.

Will the power top only be available color color matched paint, or can it also come in the traditional semi gloss black finish?

How Much stronger are the axle outer “Cs” as compared to the JK? These were a weak point for folks running 35 inch tires or larger. Will it be less of an issue with the new JL?

Also some comments on the new alpine system and the 8 inch u-connect would be useful.. And what top would they choose for their own JL?

Curious if TFLCar knows the following:
-Why is the gas tank smaller?
-Install 35" tires on OEM Rubicon confirmed?
-Can stock rear gate hold a 35" without upgrading?

If cannot answer those then:
-How is the JL road manners?
-How is the new instrument cluster? Intuitive or confusing?
-Infotainment system impressions.
-Cabin noise level any different? Notice the noise cancelling at all?

Can you get 4 wheel full time 4x4 with the rubicon

Does the rear seat in the two door fold all the way flat?? Seen a ton of answers to this question for the 4 door, but nothing on the 2 door

Not sure everyone is getting the point. They have a Sahara with power top. Ask them questions that can be answered by showing video of and looking at that Sahara.

Please show how the rear quarter windows look stored behind the seat. Is there a secure way to put them back there?
