Picked up my JLU today from Farrish Jeep in Fairfax VA.

Farrish gives 5.5% off invoice plus 1% for tread lightly or other affiliate discount on special order or in stock. So I got 6.5% off invoice on an in-stock JLU sport S (and a fair lease as well). Tried and failed to get local dealers around NYC to match or beat it.

Spencer was easy to deal with. I leased with them and after a little Back and forth, I got the lease deal I wanted as well.

It was definitely worth an Amtrak ticket!

Tags you shouldn’t add back into the deal- taxes either. Destination and documentarion fees, yes- add those back.

The $490 fee for taxes and registration isn’t a Farrish charge.

I didn’t know Farrish strips out Desrination to show the maximum possible discount, but Koons definitely does. There’s no possible way to buy a new Jeep w/o paying the Destination, but for one reason or another Koons feels it works for them to strip it for a bigger discount total, and then add it back later.

Worked with Spencer at Farrish—They didn’t have additional fees when I purchased my JLUR in July, it was actually a straight forward process—5.5% under invoice, plus another 1% for affiliate program (tread lightly, or I had one through my employer) + 699 doc fee + tax/tags. There were no additional fees (destination, etc) since its already on the sticker (factored into the invoice sheet).

Overall was a great experience and would buy from them again in the future (unless the deal model changes ).

Anyways just walked in to test drive and ended driving out with new Jeep. didn’t even know there was this HUGE Jeep community ! I’m seeing all this info after the fact and I’m wondering if the dealer did me good or if I did all right. Deal is done but just wondering, any input appreciated - and WOW !!!! look forward to being part of this great community - feel like I was an orphan and I found my family - and they happen to be great ! Tough to say without knowing how much tax+tags+doc fees are. Can you always do better? Sure. But if you are comfortable with the price then it was a good deal for you.

You probably got an OK deal. There's not as much mark up on a sport as there is on the higher trim levels. I just bought a new Cherokee KL for my wife two weeks ago and could not find the pre purchase info on it like there is here on the JL. Now, like you, I'm doing follow up pricing research. I consider it an important part of the experience, knowing if there was anything I could have done better. Welcome to the club.

SPUR OF THE MOMENT BOUGHT A JL 18 sport - never had really even paid attention to keeps. But I live by beach and though it would be cool to have a any sort of convertible. Anyways just walked in to test drive and ended driving out with new Jeep. didn’t even know there was this HUGE Jeep community ! I’m seeing all this info after the fact and I’m wondering if the dealer did me good or if I did all right. Deal is done but just wondering, any input appreciated - and WOW !!!! look forward to being part of this great community - feel like I was an orphan and I found my family - and they happen to be great ! Cheers !!!

Tough to say without knowing how much tax+tags+doc fees are. Can you always do better? Sure. But if you are comfortable with the price then it was a good deal for you.

GOOD ADVICE. i paid 2,705 in tax tags and doc fees. from the final sales contract. I THOUGHT i calculated i got in for 7%+ under msrp,but i guess i didnt do math right?

I saw a posting on you tube... a guy got a new rubicon and the dealer in Bridgeton, MO (All-Star Jeep) knocked $10k off the sticker. he mentioned they are a volume dealer, but their service isn't go good... that's hell of a deal if this true... I am looking to get a wrangler too and 6pd. I have a tacoma now which I love... I would like the new vehicle to be my 2nd ride. But they are not cheap!

I highly doubt the claim of 10k. The dealer would be taking a considerable loss.
