Does anyone know if the 2019 3.6L engine will have e-torque and if so will it be a option?

No way do I want a 48vdc battery under my Jeep. May have to, find a '17 or '18 Rubi.

All just rumors now. There is an e-torque setup for the 3.6 in the Ram 1500 now, so it is possible that the 3.6 will eventually have E-torque available in all of the applications of the engine.

Is the it optional on the 3.6 in the ram? I hope all the 3.6 19s have it.

On the 2019 Ram 1500 V-6 the ETorque is standard on the 3.6 and (for the time being) optional on the 5.7 Hemi.

Does that mean it has 3 barrettes? The regular battery, the aux battery and the 48 volt for the BSG?

The Etorque system only has the single 12V and the single 48V battery. The two 12V batteries on the V6 Jeeps are because of the ESS system, and is the same on any other FCA vehicle with ESS.

So does anyone know yet for sure the 2019 model will get this as a standard feature on the 6 cylinder? I know it’s already on the 4 cylinder but I don’t want the turbo 4 I want the tried and true V6 and I will be ordering possibly pin the next month or two!! To me I think this feature is a no brained it will give us another 2 mpg’s it looks like to me since they say 10% increase in fuel economy!

No solid information on the 2019s yet. Its all just conjecture for the moment.
