I have a JL UR with the upgraded nav/sound and this morning no matter what source / volume / mode I tried, there was no sound. I tried the mute button. I tried turning the system off and on again, and same with the car. The phone pairs. The screen shows the song playing. (or stations in "radio"). Just no sound at all. I tried everything.

This is a brand new car so this is pretty frustrating. Yes yes, I know it's "a jeep thing", but that doesn't excuse it lol. Any suggestions?

After sitting in my work parking garage for about 11 hrs I left work and the sound worked. (about blew my ear drums as I left it around 50% on the way to work trying to get it to work) I guess it must have been a bug that didn't clear until after the car's electrical crap turned off minutes after sitting there locked because I tried turning both the infotainment off (which really just appears to turn only the screen off) and the entire jeep off, but neither did anything to fix the issue.

This will happen randomly. I have had my Jeep since mid March. Seen these symptoms on 3 different occasions. The first time it happened I was livid. I let the Jeep sit 4 hours and the problem went away. All I am going to say is, I have been there too.

Hello rubydoo,

I understand why this would be concerning. If you decide to have this looked at by the dealer, let me know. I am available via direct message and would be happy to help.

So i had something similar when mine was new ( a few weeks old). Check the power distribution box and make sure ALL of the fuses and relays are seated firmly. I found that 30-40% of mine required an extra push to fully seat. It solved my problem.
