Looks like there is a collection of highly intelligent although somewhat dysfunctional people on this thread .. so I am going to ask something out of the ordinary .... Anyone have a good home remedy for a sinus infection that is kicking my butt ... please no pouring teapots of stuff from one nostril to the other ... already trying the whiskey remedy (not helping but sure not hurting either) ... I know I should go see a doctor, but they always say the same thing ..... "WOW" ....
Just not a fan of lawyers or doctors (nurses are another story) .
All kidding aside, it you got something let me know .. Thanks in advance
Advil, Tylenol, and 12 Hour Sudafed (the real stuff that you have to get from the pharmacist).

-Take 3 Advil (should be 3x200mg = 600mg) & 1 12 Hour Sudafed
-Wait 3 hours
-Take 2 Tylenol (should be 2x500mg = 1000mg)
-Wait 3 hours
-3x more Advil
-Wait 3 more hours
-2x Tylenol
-Wait 3 hours
-Repeat.

Basically, you're staggering the Advil and Tylenol so you get overlap when a dose is up, and you get a double whammy when both are going. This will get rid of any symptoms (fever, aches, pains, congestion). If it's an actual infection, you'll need antibiotics.

Note: don't mix this with DayQuil, NyQuil, or use any "cold & flu" or "sinus relief" variants. These all contain more than just Tylenol, Advil, or Sudafed, and you'll take too much.

If you do go to the doctor, try going while not on anything for a few hours (misery, I know) - it'll show them the full gamut of your symptoms.

Good luck and feel better. :like::fist bump:

I say ‘ugh’ to all of you!
Oh not that much of an "Ugh" then. My brother finished High School in '95

Good morning!:)
My sinuses are currently so swollen they’re extended down into the roots of my teeth. Hurts like hell at night. Never have I ever & don’t plan on pouring anything through my nose. I just can’t do it. This morning I took a vitamin c boost, echinacea, oregano oil & an immune system enzyme. I also just made an appointment with my chiropractor/kinesiologist. An adjustment works wonders for my sinuses!!! She’s the only doctor I ever go to anymore.
I’m a chronic sinus sufferer & know how crappy it is. Fingers crossed it passes for you soon!!!:fingerscrossed:

The Spec V Sentra spawned the SRT-4 Neon. Dodge basically saw the 2.4L Sentra and said "Hold my beer" and made their own 2.4, then added a freakin turbo and made the legendary death trap Neon SRT-4
I really wanted the SRT-4, but I could never find one that wasn't smashed up, or victimized by someone that thinks completely stripping out all weight still makes a daily driver... just a seat in a metal box....

Haha! You're one of the few people I've even told that to in my life. I surely don't go around saying "You wanna know something interesting? I scored the highest GED score in the history of the Connecticut prison system in 1981." :cwl::giggle::facepalm:

Edit: meant to quote CK on that one.
Sounds like a great conversation starter to me. ;)
Crazy Jeeples make a person do strange things. Like be honest. Its kinda weird. :)

The car could almost run high 11 practically stock, so much car for the money. Today hard to find because so many of these monsters met trees and line poles, dragstrip walls ect...

Hahaa...

Actually, it was really great. It gave enough time for courses that were of interest to you, and meant you were just that bit older before moving away from home (and if you were born in the first 8months of the year, you were legal to drink).

But I loved school.... Couldnt get enough of it, apparently, and chased down three degrees after that - only two of which made financial sense.
:) Happy you enjoyed it! It all works out for everyone in the end.
I did not care for school. Got out as fast as possible (and out of the house at 16 too...)
I wasn't legal to drink until after I started working my first real job after college.

Hmm. Still no age on Trina, I see....

You’re timeless, chica!
lol, I'm still trying to figure out what she does for a living.... Healthcare yes, but not a Doctor, not a Nurse, not a Physician's Assistant, not a Physical Therapist.... there's too many fields but the guessing game can't go on forever!
