I change my mind...I don't want to share the JL with the wife anymore.

..... I've even tried to rationalized in my head that I should try to sell my truck and get another Jeep....
Funny, because I sold my truck for my JL. It's the first time in 20+ years that I've not owned a truck. I kinda worried about not having a truck, but I immediately bought a trailer to pull behind the Jeep for hauling stuff and it's not been an issue at all.
It's kinda fun having a 2 Jeep house. My wife used to drive a Grand Cherokee, but she sold it and got a Renegade. That little Renegade was so much fun to drive it prompted me to by my JL. Do you and your wife a favor. Sell the truck, buy another Jeep, and get a trailer for the stuff you would have used the truck for. Problem solved.

Your going about this all wrong!

Let her start using it as much as she wants!

Don’t be too obvious about it, maybe a little more and more over time!

After she is finally using it 80% of the time, it time to go get the 2019 Rubi for yourself since she has taken over the other one!
I like this plan, but you seem to have a typo. I fixed it for you ;)

My husband has his own car but keeps borrowing my Jeep. At first I let him because he likes fast cars so I thought it would get it out of his system. No luck. He just keeps saying how surprised he is that he loves it so much. Now I catch him sneakily looking at Jeeps online like a teenage boy trying to hide he is watching porn.

OK got to ask, how and why did it catch fire?
Nor sure of the cause of fire. Chrysler sent an inspector out, still waiting on the report.

I’ve never had to share a vehicle before. Don’t think I could now. Already to set in my ways.
Easiest solution would be for y’all to become a two Jeep family.

That's really funny, especially the last part.

I drive a Renegade too. With bigger tires and a lift, it's so much fun to drive.
But what exactly about the Renegade prompted you to get a JL?
A friend of mine said, the JL feels like a mixture of JK and BU (Renegade) to him.

what are the daily drivers? The wrangler we have on order is for the wife, another toy for her to drive, I have my SRT and a few other cars. She has her 3 jeeps and PT convertible.

If you like the Jeep, go buy one for yourself, get rid of the car you like least or have 4 cars.

I like your way of thinking...let her use it as much as she wants...wait some time and then spring it on her that I'm going to buy my JL ..
Now how do I get rid of my truck that 7 months old without loosing my :lipssealed:.

Wife has a 2017 BMW X4 M40i and I have a 2018 Ram Limited, the wrangler was a for us to do something different than being on the lake on the weekends.

So three vehicles a year old or newer, and from the sound of it probably a boat, and you’re complaining about having to share? :lipssealed::facepalm:

I'm guilty of encroachment with my wife's Jeep. For her B-day we traded her 70th Anniversary Liberty for a Ocean Blue JL Sahara.

With the Liberty, I never gave it a thought, it was her DD and I would drive on the long family vacation outings. With the JL, as soon as I slapped the Tarmac Tarantula hood decals on, she said I was taking over her Jeep.

She's probably right but I can't help it, it's a primal urge.

Besides, she gets to keep her Minion sunshade!
