Discussion here today, think you dorks may like to share too. What vehicle did you take your drivers test in? Mine was my grandmas 1992 Oldsmobile cutlass Ciara. Parents only had MT, wanted an auto for the test.

I'm only responding to this because Bily is taking the time to read up... lol

1995 Ford Taurus GL. 3.0 V6 and a 4 speed auto.

I took my drivers license test in my mom's doo doo brown 1980 Pontiac LeMans Safari wagon. My dad took me to DMV for the test which I passed easily. Got my license, 16 years old, on top of the world...and my dad drives us home. I was like WTF!!!!!

I cooked up a scheme to get dropped off at the DMV to take the test in Dad's sports car (Datsun 280Z) ON my birthday. Had I failed the test, I would have had to drive home illegally. I aced it. Then didn't go home until the tank was empty! What a great day that was!

Update on the loaner kids, they are pretty good kids considering what they've been through the last couple of months. They act like little buttheads when mom comes to visit though. I have to sometimes take control and be the Alpha to get them settled down. No concept of inside voice...yet. This is a huge challenge for me, I'm used to my peace and tranquility. The 5 year old is fun, but tests boundaries quite often, the 2 1/2 year old is still a gross little creature that deliberately tests my sanity. That said, I love that they are staying with us, but I'm exhausted. Send Monster drinks my way, coffee isn't cutting it.
