I did!!!

Coming from a TJ, I have to admit there was a certain, “What to you mean there is an option of NOT steel????”

:lipssealed::cwl:

And the wheels, well, I just really like them.
You just wanted to show me up with your fancy schmancy wheels, steel bumpers, and two extra doors! :)

No worries Mike I was in the same boat, thinking that I would probably go aftermarket on the wheels/ bumpers eventually and debated a long time as to whether to get the options or take standard and replace. So I optioned to tell the boss lady that the options were standard (don't judge me the payments come out of my account anyway) and go with the options .. let's just keep this between us
No judgement here. Your wife and my hubby can have conversations about how weird it is that in this day and age, Jeep hasn’t figured out a way to make a non-steel bumper.

I drove the salesman to get gas. I said to him, “bear with me, this is my first time with this transmission”.

He responded, “it won’t be a problem”

He was right. It’s amazing. She’s amazing. I love her.

BUT, the step into her is tough on my knee. It’s sore tonight (also, I got “bit” on it today, so there’s that - dogs playing, open mouth wrestling, one swung her head around and nailed me. The knee went right in her mouth). I’ve got to get my steps ordered sooner rather than later.
Sorry to hear about your knee. We don't ever need extra crap happening in that area.

Very happy it’s an easy fix. To me though, when you purchase a new vehicle, it should be blemish-free:)
Totally agree but this is one that you can at least overlook and move forward without rejecting the whole purchase.

They are reasonably deep scratches/gouges, not just scuff marks. I have no doubt I’ll put some like it on her, but it’s okay when I do it. It’s not okay if someone else does.
They should be able to replace that whole arch.

Those of you 4 dr owners who have taken your hard top off, and put your soft on:

The soft top seems to weigh a ton. Is it manageable with two people, or should I disassemble the box whilst still in the Jeep and take things out in smaller groupings?

How long of a project: hard top off and stored, soft top on? How much time do we need?

I think I slid mine into the garage first. Then opened and carried parts/boxes into my basement. Easier with 2 sliding it out, but MAYBE? manageable dropping it...not recommended.

EDIT: was not bad for me and wife, and didnt take long to carry the smaller boxes...she helped me with the big top part and it made it really easy.
