The painting project has been completed. Just waiting for my stupid pictures to sync. Running out of cloud storage really screwed things up for a bit.

Edit: I did put a dab of the paint on a front hook, the colors sure looked the same to me.

While I wait for the sync to complete, here's a shot of Wrikki with her shoes and socks off:

I don't know how I missed it, when I found it a half hour ago I was ready to chew a knew one on the dealer that had it thursday/friday. I think the good news is that a good PDR guy can probably do a minimally invasive fix.

Yup. Now that I know where it is I can see it in the photo I took 5 minutes after taking it off the lot. Tell if I'm right:whatsgoingon:

Bottom line, it's probably not as bad as the things I'm going to inflict on it in the coming years. :)

It did delay my ACE sliders install though. I went out to put them on and when I was staring at the scary body bolts I noticed it.

The photographic evidence is pointing to the selling dealer, cuz I don't see it in this photo right after it was taken off the truck.

I would be so stressed if I worried about every little pitt and dent on Jumper :lipssealed:

I'm not stressed. However, I don't like dealers pulling one over on me either. Believe me, as the photos of the damage to my rear fenders/quarters showed I've already done my fair share of minor damage to Ofsteve.

and...dings are one thing, dents are another.

I'm seriously considering front splash guards. The back fenders look like someone was not nice to them. And I too have a couple nicks in the rear quarters. She's too young for this! :)

Going with some non-rock-throwing tires might be a better solution. Splash guards probably won't live long if you do a lot of offroading, especially rock crawling/traversing.

I totally hear ya but I think my offroading will be along the lines of what Mark and I just did yesterday. I think I'd rather chance ripping one of them off instead of investing in wheels and tires.
