I never played Halo, so the show was good IMHO.

But the Wheel of Time was a great read as a kid, and the show was almost nothing like it. I can see why those who know the lore and got into the books/games can be disappointed with all the "creative license" used to bring these stories to the screen.

Adaptations shouldn't stray as much from an already good thing. IMHO

Don't get me started on the travesty that is WOT...
I've read the whole series 3 times....Couldn't get through season 1

My main complaint was they changed the existing characters too much, but I liked the new characters.

Glen has all the books and knows the deep lore of Halo.... Man went Rabid over the show. lol!

He has other concerns right now I think...

When the news broke that they were coming out with a Fallout series the overwhelming response was: " Please don't F'it up like they did with Halo"
I think they did an awesome job with Fallout and I've played that going back to the original in the 90's...

Anyway I had fun watching it, but It doesn't top my list of Marvel movies though.

they nailed the retro-futurism and that looked good, Johnny being neutered and not the "Rock Star" vibe he's supposed to have took away from that as well

Hey Don, Did you get the Space Station going over last night? MAN...that thing rockets in the sky!

We sat out on Mom's driveway for a while waiting for it to come over. Once it became visible, it was no time before it was gone. LOL

Crappy phone of something bring in the sky...you will have to trust me that it was the space station and not just some star. LOL

I use the ISS Tracker app. It's like one of the few apps I have. I love it because it shows so many things in the sky.

The pilot on my flight to Miami on Monday was definitely carrier-trained. He got the 3 wire, whether we in the back wanted it or not.
