So, back to my sliders (because apparently I’m all about me today)

Choosing between the Roam, and the LOD Destroyers.

Points being discussed (inside my own head. Hubby really doesn’t care):

LOD is available from Northridge 4x4, which has a Canadian outlet. Price on the website is what I will pay. Shipping included.

Roam. Not sure how much shipping will be (or if they will ship) Haven’t heard back. Will have to contend with sending a package across the border, and the unknown $ in brokerage fees, etc.

If costs are similar to what people south of the border pay, the Roams will be substantially cheaper. IF....

The LOD seem hide the pinch seam better - important when your seam is bright green.

Apparently the outside lip of the Roams are quite sharp. Someone has hurt themselves on them. You know I’d be the next one...

So that’s what I’m debating right now....

I’ve been following the Fob thread. Been showing them to hubby. Lots of conversations about how I’m going to buy one once the green thread is available.

Did not connect that I “knew” the manufacturer from this thread. Despite having discussions about your old school manners and politeness with regards to the question about the fob and blocking signals.

Sigh.

My best excuse is that o always read the forum on my phone, and the avatars are small???

I won't buy anything that has the fabricator's logo plastered all over the side of my Jeep. Roam would be out for me.
