Had some casual friends of ours almost taken out in Sturgis yesterday. Truck blew through an intersection. Buddy laid the bike down instead of hitting the truck. Minor injuries, and bike being trailered home. Could have been much worse they said.
OH yeah, I found out the ABS on my Jeep worked a few weeks after getting it. WSPD officer pulling out of his driveway in his cruiser... right in front of me. I could really feel the brake pedal vibrating under my foot. Police Charger flies off the road in an erratic evasion maneuver... nobody hurt, we go about our day.
I doubt seriously that he needs any encouragement.
(Thats what we get for encouraging him...)

I sold the Indian back to the dealer yesterday so now it's just me, Ofsteve, and the Road King (and the KLR650). I think I need to do Sturgis one of these years.GRRR...
