Yep. And as smart as those engineers are, that sure was a stupid idea! I'm wondering if they even tested that? And if so, their soft top HAD to still flap and bounce around like ours do! Oh well.... my bungees to the trick just fine now!

I love it! Mine is the standard soft top (not the PST) and it's wonderful. We're getting that same heat & humidity down here in Central Florida as well, so I'm nearly always doors off & top down and the wind feels awesome! You will definitely enjoy the soft top if you get one. Oh, AND your GoPro too!!!!!! Hahahahaha!

Funny... I fear I’ll use it just once, to take the hard top off and leave it off.

I have no clue where those straps even are anymore. Saw them when i got her new....wait are these the same straps i think i put on the rear seat belts??? Hmmm, i will have to look when i get off work. I will say this, i do something very similar when the JK's top is down but i wrap closer to the edges, trying to shape it in a frown. If you strap it too center it gets a smile shape and wont latch as well later on. Im not sure if this rings true with the new version but i think it might be similar.

I’m not sure they would fit along with the rock rails.

They attach to the Jeep at the pinch seam. Just as the Rubi Rock Rail do, i believe.

God, I sure wish I got a soft top! I am SO envious! I think I’ll order one when I get back from vacation, maybe some of you will have more opinions as to what to get. By September, HOPEFULLY, weather will be more bearable here on the Georgia coast. We had 90 degrees and 97% humidity this week! The only one loving it is my husband!

Hilarious. Waaayyy north of you, we'll be preparing for a long winter's nap in September! lol We normally have snow within a few days of Halloween and it stays until April. That's why I ordered the heated seats/steering wheel. I'll be ready this year...

Catherine, I figured it out! I found the same part on mine actually loose. Check your passenger side seat belt where it bolts to the lower frame. Yours might be missing. Here are my pictures as proof.

OK! The sun’s out, and my windows are now stored in my new MOPAR bag and stuffed in the trunk.

• The bag’s design is fantastic. I got my bag for free (thank you, Nicole!), but I’d happily pay for it because it’s perfect. I know there’s a mom and pop outfit making custom bags, but I’d be shocked if the side windows fit in it as nicely as they do in the MOPAR offering
• It’s a very tight fit in the trunk. You have to sorta fold the sides a bit, and only time will tell if that creates creases. I don’t think it will, but if it does the hot sun ought to sort them
• Getting the top all the way down is extremely tight. I ended up folding my back seat forward ever so slightly, locking down the top, and then locking the back seat upright. The plastic corners of the side windows are sandwiched between the back seat and the top’s support bar. It doesn’t feel so tight that it’s going to be a problem, though. I’m sure it all fits more easily in a JLU.
• I use Velcro straps to keep my top snugly in the down position. I feel this removes play and will prevent friction between the window bag and the top. Also, it looks better and I'm anal.

Ive been to the dealership 3 times so far for a faulty PST, and the radio resonance issue from premium audio (which still hasn't been fixed). a Free Window bag would be ideal (especially since they don't have them at the dealership yet)
