Hehe. I would assume that would not go good for their budget at all! What's one of those run these days?
Their tester was $140K and that's with the smaller engine.

The Rubi was just over $50K and pretty well optioned out.

Fun video I saw last night on TFL.

$140,000 G-Wagen...
$53,000 JLRU...

Imagine the Rubicon you could have with $87,000 worth of aftermarket parts though.

Or... I'd just buy the Rubi and then buy the Land to offroad it on.

Plot holes and scientific silliness.
lol, well those will ruin any movie experience. Any movie in the Sci-fi and horror genre will be full of that.

I mean, not even plot holes but just bad, bad screenplay writing. You didn't ask yourself when the shotgun comes out towards the end of the movie WTF they hadn't been carrying/using it from the get-go? You know, the previous 300+ days they tip-toed around in complete silence?

Not necessarily, and definitely not on the scale of that movie.
It is a pretty outlandish premise I'll grant you but if every movie was grounded in observed science than we wouldn't have very many of the movies we enjoy.

Up until the end the shotgun was useless against the "armored" skin and was only a desperate last resort. Otherwise every gun owner and police officer and the Military would have handled the situation pretty quickly instead of having an apocalypse.

I try not to overthink movies as you can pick each and every one apart after you watch them.
