Is that a black decal over a larger red one or is it one piece?

It is a black decal over a larger red one. This is the cleanest and easiest way to install so there is no ridge where the red vinyl would end over or under the black.

That's actually how I designed them to be, but some people have moved them in and tucked the vinyl under the vent.

I carry a purple vinyl, I am not sure if it fits your definition of dark, but it is certainly not lavender or something like that.
In general these are designed to be matte black with an accented outline.

I do not carry matte colors other than black, but I can do something like print a special color and laminate with satin laminate to give it a similar appearance.

I can also order in small amounts of special materials.

Side view? Glad you updated the design. Count me as one that wanted no body colored gap between the vent and the decal.
